Traditional Coastal Lifestyle at Cinnamon Shore I Hill Country Homestead

Cinnamon Shore has invented their own beach vibe by combining stunning architecture and a quaint small-town feel closely intertwined with comfort and traditional coastal style. Architectural Excellence at Cinnamon Shore
Upon arriving at Cinnamon Shore, the allure of the architecture hits you immediately. The color palette and designer lines of the homes are a treasure to behold. You instantly realize this place is different. These are million-dollar homes, and yet you can chat with your neighbor from your front porch if you choose, and you should! Cinnamon Shore has instilled a sense of social distancing while still preserving the small-town feel of connecting with the neighborhood. Chef Inspired Kitchens at Cinnamon Shore
Wholesome food and nutrition are fundamental to our family. So is travel. It’s easy to get off track when on vacation and make less than desirable nutrition choices. Food preparation and transport have become an essential pre-travel ritual for me. It allows me to control the menu and veggie intake of all family members, reducing the exposure to non-family members and germs. I felt like a queen in our Cinnamon Shore kitchen, and it was a joy to prepare meals to enjoy at the oversized (but just right for our family!) dinner table or on one of the many patios in the house. In House Laundry at Cinnamon Shore
One of my favorite things to do when we traveled pre- Covid was to visit the local laundrymats and wash clothes there to experience the community's feel. Our family is large, and traveling without washing is difficult and leaves a large burden on laundry to do when we get home and want to relax. With laundry mats no longer safe due to social distancing issues, a washer and dryer in the house are a huge benefit to our family, considering we run at least 2 loads per day! Not to mention when your dealing with sunscreen and sand all over everything, being able to wash everything at the end of the day gives me great peace of mind.
Chilling and Grilling at Cinnamon Shore
The other in-house amenities at Salty Swag inside the Cinnamon Shore community were personal screens in the kid’s bunkrooms, an assortment of board games, a popcorn maker, a family-style dinner table, and a patio gas grill! We made memories the night we grilled shrimp and steak for dinner with roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes. We all fit at the beautifully crafted dining table, and we were able to enjoy a fine meal and each other’s company. It was a perfect ending to a long day at the beach and pool. Everything combined made us feel like we were truly at home.
Private Beach Enjoyment at Cinnamon Shore
The most important part about enjoying Cinnamon Shore's beaches on Mustang Island is it's not a free for all when it comes to beach-front-day space. With a simple call to the front office, the staff will kindly set up the requested amount of chairs beachfront for you encapsulated with large generous beach umbrellas. Essentially, blocking off a portion of the beach for you and your family, complete with a large name sign signaling it's yours! This setup served our family well, with the younger children needing a quiet shady place to rest and reboot during the beach day. We felt like we had our own private cabana on the beautiful beaches of Port Aransas.
Personal Bonfire’s and Smore Kits at Cinnamon Shore
Once the sun began to set over the Gulf of Mexico, the amazing staff at Cinnamon Shore met us at our cabana on the beach with a shovel, wood, and a smores kit. They dug a hole in the front of our cabana, lit a fire for us to enjoy, and they were off. The kids roasted marshmallows, played, and laughed as we watched the sunset over the ocean. Cinnamon Shore is a truly magical experience that gives a whole new meaning to family traditions and memories.
